Hello, Everyone!

Hi, Everyone!

My name is Joe.  I have been an avid video game collector for several years now, both home consoles and arcade games.  Actually, I started in the hobby in 1986, which was a great time to start collecting arcade games - the arcade game crash caused many operators and owners to liquidate their inventory at garage sale prices.  I recall my first "find" - I answered a classified ad in the Houston Chronicle, 10 arcade games, $200.  $200 per game sounded like a reasonable price so I called and went by to check them out - it was $200 for all ten!  That haul included Armor Attack, Omega Race (x2), Tempest, Venture, Astro Blaster, Star Castle, Warlords (upright), Battlezone and I forget the last one.  I was hooked.

I am still a collector, but now a collector who is dabbling in photography.  I just downloaded Instagram to my phone.  I thought it would be fun to start a blog and regularly post photos of my collection, both arcade and home console.

I would love your comments and feedback.

Thank you!
